Another Gif

When I was first working with my Ogre, I wanted to try and save the different poses without doing a bunch of work (I really don’t know the Non Linear Animation Component yet).  So I thought I would just keep track of the Ogre’s movements using the IPO editor.  That was a bad idea and I wouldn’t suggest doing it.  The Ogre became remarkably stubborn to work with.

Oh well, live and learn…

But, the cool thing that came out of it, is kind of a neat little 1 second growling clip that I put on a loop using the same Gif animation technique in GIMP that I described in an earlier post.

Here’s the result:

Now just imagining him growling and we have something going on.

As for the zipper, I was expecting him to be disembowled by Mech Monk in our Fight Club Battle, so I was planning ahead to bring him back.  That never happened, so now I have a rather silly looking ogre with a zipper on his chest.
